Welcome to our Weekly CTF Contest!
In this era of cloud computing, from individuals, enterprises to large conglomerates, everyone is migrating towards the cloud. With this comes an unseen threat because Cloud environments are different from the traditional infrastructure.
With over millions of active customers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the most popular cloud service providers, and due to the same reason, it is of prime importance to hackers. Gaining access to one such corporate AWS account can cost a company in billions.
Before moving towards the exploitation phase, it is important to perform reconnaissance as effectively as possible. This CTF contest is focused on performing reconnaissance on a compromised AWS Account. You are provided with an assumed breach scenario where you already have the Access Key Id and AWS Secret Key of a read-only user account. Your task is to enumerate services such as EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Cloudwatch.
Collect all seven flags.
Click on RUN to start the lab (takes approximately 25s).
Click on LAB LINK to view the Access Key Id and Secret Key of an AWS account. You can now use this with other tools to enumerate the running services in the AWS account and start uncovering the flags
Collect the seven flags hidden among the services: EC2, DyanmoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Cloudwatch.
Apart from FLAG4, the flags are named as FLAG1, FLAG2, FLAG3, FLAG5, FLAG6, and FLAG7
One of the IAM users has excess privilege over a resource. FLAG4 is the ARN of that resource.
Capture and verify 7 flags - FLAG1, FLAG2, FLAG3, FLAG4 (Resource ARN), FLAG5, FLAG6 and FLAG7
Once you verify the flags, email email@example.com with a short report on the process and the email you used to register on this website.
